My first ever blog entry
Hi I'm K, but my mum and dad call me Monster. I am 8 years old and I am in Year 4 at school.
I was born in Auckland and we moved to Whangarei when I was 5. Last year when I was 7 we moved to Dunedin. It's a lot colder here than it is in Whangarei.
I like reading books, writing, playing rugby, swimming, riding my BMX bike and spending time with my family and friends. My favourite book is called Avalanche. I am just learning how to ice skate and want to learn to play ice hockey.
It's the school holidays at the moment. I normally go and spend time with my Gran and Pop on their farm with the sheep and their dog Bella. But this holidays I am staying in Dunedin with my mum and dad and my little sister.
We have had a cool holiday so far. We went swimming and to the Museum and the Art Gallery and the Library and the Early Settlers museum and ten pin bowling and went to a carnival. But I like going to school better than being on holiday. I like learning things.

Welcome to Blogland K! How wonderful to have you here. I've heard SO much about you.
I hope you enjoy blogging when you have the time and inclination. I realise it's a lot colder where you are now, but snow ROCKS! (written like a true Wellingtonian that never gets to see the stuff)
Have a good day, hope to hear from you soon, and hey, try not to play so much rugby on the tennis court eh? Your mum is running out of time to mend your jeans! lol
*hug*
